It started with a smell.

Sheikh Scents is a small, family-run fragrance business based in Baltimore, Maryland. We've always been drawn to things that smell incredible - colognes, perfumes, lotions, the works. There's something about a great scent that hits different. It can bring back a memory, shift your mood, or change how someone remembers you after you've left the room.

What makes us different?

We smell every single perfume we sell. Most online fragrance shops copy the manufacturer's notes, paste in a generic description, and move on. We open the bottle, spray it, wear it around, and write about what it actually smells like from our own experience.

Because let's be real - who actually knows what vetiver smells like? Or tonka bean? Or "bergamot accords with a musky undertone"? You shouldn't need a perfumery degree to buy a perfume. We translate that stuff into plain language so you know what you're actually getting.
