Al Noble Safeer

Grapefruit and ginger open it, caramel and jasmine sit in the middle, and it dries down to guaiac wood and ambergris.

This one takes a turn most people do not expect. The opening is bright and peppery, grapefruit and bergamot with ginger and black pepper behind them, and it reads like a fresh citrus for about ten minutes. Then caramel comes up through the middle with jasmine and heliotrope, and the whole thing turns warm and slightly powdery. The base is guaiac wood, cypriol and ambergris over cashmeran and musk, dry and a little smoky. Good in cool weather and for anyone bored of straightforward fresh scents.
