The name promises oud. This bottle doesn't really deliver it, at least not in any way you'd notice. What you actually get is a bright, slightly soapy green bergamot opening that lasts about a minute, then a juicy, candied melon-and-pineapple accord over warm amber. It settles into a creamy vanilla-musk base with light woods underneath. Most people land on Xerjoff Erba Pura as the closest reference, and the resemblance is strong. It projects hard for the first couple hours, so two sprays is plenty indoors, and it wears well from spring through fall, though peak summer heat can make it feel like a lot.
