Saffron and nutmeg open it with a lift of lavender, then it turns into smoky oud and earthy patchouli over musk.

A big, traditional oud. The opening is spiced and slightly medicinal, saffron and nutmeg with lavender softening the edge, and it does not stay polite for long. Within twenty minutes the oud is fully out, dark and resinous, with patchouli giving it an earthy weight underneath. The base is more of the same over musk, faintly sweet. This is not a subtle fragrance. One spray, cold weather, evenings.
