Fragrance Description
Fragrance Description
The darker, woodier version of Rasasi's Hawas, and the one reviewers keep pointing to as a close match for Nishane's Hacivat.
Bergamot, pineapple, and grapefruit open it fresh and a little fruity, nothing like the aromatic-fougere direction the original Hawas takes. Cedarwood, patchouli, and jasmine carry the heart into darker territory. Oakmoss, woody notes, and amber close it out with a dry, mossy finish rather than the sweet amber base you'd expect from a Rasasi release. More than one reviewer has called it a close match for Nishane's Hacivat, and it wears heavy: two sprays is usually enough. This is a nighttime fragrance, not something to reach for at the office.

Questions people ask
Is Hawas Black authentic?
Yes. We buy Rasasi through licensed U.S. distributors and every bottle ships in its factory-sealed retail box. Come smell it at our stall at the Patapsco Flea Market in Baltimore if you'd rather test it in person.
How long does Hawas Black last?
10 to 12 hours on skin, with heavy projection for the first four hours or so before it settles down.
What does Hawas Black smell similar to?
Reviewers consistently compare it to Nishane's Hacivat, close enough that several call it a 90 percent match. It's not identical, but if you like Hacivat and don't want to spend niche prices, this is worth trying.
