Island keeps things light without going thin. The citrus and pineapple opening fades into a creamy coconut and jasmine heart, and the drydown adds just enough sandalwood and musk to keep it from disappearing after an hour, which is the usual problem with tropical scents. It reads unisex and wears just as well at the market stall in July as it does layered under a coat in the middle of a Baltimore winter.
