Maitre De Blue is Maison Alhambra's Bleu de Chanel alternative and it tracks the EDT version more closely than the EDP. The opening is sharp citrus with an aldehydic sparkle and a pepper lift. Ginger and nutmeg carry it through the middle with a clean melon note underneath, then it turns dry: amber, labdanum, incense and a touch of agarwood over sandalwood and patchouli. It is the safe office and meeting scent in the lineup, the one nobody objects to.

The honest caveat is strength. This wears like an eau de toilette despite the EDP label, around three hours before it sits on the skin. At the price it is a reasonable way to get the Bleu profile into a rotation, but reach for something else if you need a full workday from one application.
